The guru I encountered was truly one-of-a-kind. A Uncommon Guru. His name? Mr. Sriram, or as his admirers and friends affectionately call him, Sriram Sir.
Our meeting was nothing short of a divine arrangement harmonised by the Almighty. Prior to our encounter, I had only read about him and watched a few YouTube videos. That was the extent of my knowledge. Sriram Sir resides in Hyderabad.
Several weeks later, in a casual conversation with my school friend Sreedhar, a native of Hyderabad who frequents the sacred town of Tiruvannamalai, I mentioned my fascination with this enigmatic individual and his extraordinary abilities. Sreedhar was taken aback.
He confessed to never having heard of such a person and seemed perplexed by the level of detail I provided. Promising to investigate further, he requested a couple of days to gather more information about Sriram Sir. The anticipation was palpable as we awaited his return with news of this mysterious guru.
Sreedhar reached out to me the following day with exciting news – he had a close friend who was part of Sri Ram Sir’s exclusive circle. This group typically kept to themselves, rarely allowing outsiders to join their audience. A few days later, Sreedhar’s friend, Mr. Reddy, contacted me with an invitation to a small convention happening at a prestigious hotel in Hyderabad on December 22nd. He promised to secure passes for me and a friend.
As the events unfolded in the second week of December 2023, the date of December 22nd loomed closer. I was taken aback, as I had already committed to attending my uncle’s 70th birthday celebration in my hometown, which was a daunting 400 kilometers away from Chennai. Let me share an intriguing story told by his friends. A few years back, a close friend of Sriram Sir arranged his daughter’s wedding and went to personally invite him. Sriram Sir graciously accepted the invitation and extended his hearty congratulations to the parents. Engaging in lively conversation, he even offered them coffee. However, he regretfully informed the father that he would be unable to attend the wedding, as he had a prior commitment to travel to the USA to visit his daughter.
Despite their disappointment, Sriram Sir disappeared into his room, only to return with a mysterious sealed envelope. Handing it to the couple, he instructed them to open it only on the day of their daughter’s marriage, which was just a few months away. With his blessings bestowed upon them, the parents departed, their curiosity piqued and hearts full of gratitude.
The grand wedding ceremony unfolded in the vibrant land of India, a spectacle of tradition and love. As the sacred vows were exchanged, Sriram Sir, all the way from the USA, reached out to the parents to inquire about the forgotten envelope. He asked them to open it and see. The parents were stunned, realizing they had overlooked the mysterious package that had arrived earlier.
Upon opening the long-forgotten cover, a wave of emotions washed over them. Inside was a photograph capturing the very moment of the wedding, frozen in time. The groom delicately tying the sacred mangalsutra around the bride’s neck, surrounded by familiar faces in identical attire. The colours were the same, the people were the same as in the photograph. Sriram Sir had gone to a time loop which was two months further and was able to bring a photograph from there.
It was a moment of pure astonishment and joy, a surreal experience that left them trembling with happiness.
In that moment, they felt the presence of Sriram Sir’s blessings, guiding them through this unexpected revelation. As they continued with their daily lives, the memory of that photograph lingered in their minds, a reminder of the magical connection that transcends time and distance.
This incident truly knocked me off my chair and it took me quite some time to gather myself back together.
